Just got off a heated phone call with a friend who simply advocates that "The loss of so many civilians including the Evin prisoners are the price "WE" pay for freedom and added more people die in car accidents every year. Of course she lives in an affluent suburb of Chicago. I felt I was having a conversation with Khalkhali.

Even though it was claimed that the bombing of Evin Prison only affected the entrance or just the gate, the actual number of prisoner casualties was never reported by any news outlet—whether in Israel or Iran.

War has never brought peace to the innocent civilians caught in the middle, with nowhere to go. That has never been on politicians’ agendas. I hate politics.

At the end of the 12-day war, which left many innocent people dead, both countries claimed they had “won” the war. The Islamic Republic perhaps ties its victory to the protection of the “Twelve Imams” watching over them, while Israel boasts of its own triumph—and Trump spins the torch of victory, calling himself a peacekeeper. Shame on them all.

It seems that every action taken ends up harming the people rather than helping them. Could this be intentional? I hope not 😏😔

Just what I thought on reading that they bombed Evin - punishing the victims of the regime, what was the point of that? Not to mention killing other innocent people /destroying their homes. No, humans haven't progressed much beyond throwing rocks ( in 2001 : A Space Odyssey, the moment apes learned to murder also made them love power over others, a step toward being human..)
