What Is Happening in My Country?

1 - We have entered the fifth day of The war.

Yesterday, the Islamic Republic's state TV was targeted by missiles — the very place that, over the years, served as the stage for government propaganda, for state-sponsored funerals and slogans. It was the place where they brought young people to give false confessions and become "collaborators and repentants. they had to say they were foreign spies, — moments before execution — they were forced to say whatever the Ministry of Intelligence demanded. All of them had been tortured into confessing.

The commanders who were killed were mostly those who had repeatedly suppressed protests and given direct orders to kill people.

2-The people who have endured years of repression and torture under the Islamic Republic are now wandering, displaced on the roads. All the banks have been shut down, and supplies are quickly running out — hunger is beginning to show .

Contrary to what is being claimed, many innocent people — even those who were against the regime — have been killed. War always acts blindly and deafly, and the claim that only a tyrannical government is being targeted is simply not true.

3-Tehran has a population of 19 million. When evacuation orders are issued, it means they have absolutely no vision or clarity about the condition of the capital. Many have love ones in prisons and therefore cannot go anywhere. The risk of executions for prisoners is increasing day by day, because whenever the Islamic Republic is defeated on the outside, it turns its wrath on the people inside the country.

The bank system doesn’t operate .,and therefor Bank cards no longer work. There is no wheat. , bakeries cannot provide bread.

I spend 24 hours online with my students around the world, trying to help them escape the horrific emotional situation they are in. The young people are depressed and don’t know whether this archaic, obsolete system will finally be removed from our country — or whether anything of this nation will remain at all.

Destroying a country's infrastructure is not fighting its rulers; it is destroying the future of its people. Stop. The people of Iran have already endured so much suffering. They have come to the streets time after time and been arrested, tortured and executed. You must Stop now.

If this war is truly about deterrence, then economic infrastructure must not be a target. We all detest nuclear bombs, the Islamic Republic’s behavior, and its decades of warmongering — but please don’t forget: YOU were the ones who helped keep them remain in power .

Who gave them a plane full of cash?
Who turned a blind eye to the assassinations of Iranian intellectuals across Europe?Who allowed a bunch of idiots or spies to declare the hijab a cultural code?
How many thousands of times did we say that prisoners are being raped in Iranian prisons — and no one listened?

No one paid attention until October 7 happened and suddenly everyone began to scream.

We are not Israelis. We are not Palestinians.
There is no one coming to our aid, no one speaking about what has happened — and continues to happen — to us.

We are Iranians. It’s just us — and only us.
